Tapawera Settle runs courtesy transport options for all of our customers who book any of our packages below.  It has become very popular with trampers being dropped off/picked up prior to and/or after tramping, their belongings and vehicles safely stored here free of charge in between. [Please note - the user limit of the courtesy coach is 45 minutes (+/- 10 mins) per booking on any given day]. Prices below are valid from 1 Oct 2017:

Day use facilities package:
Wifi (1 gig), site PC (1 hour), same day (10am to 10pm) use of SAT TV, toilets, kitchen, bbqs, laundry facilities, hot showers and use of our courtesy coach. Up to 5 days lockable safe storage and vehicle and belongings storage.

2 persons $90 ($45 pp)
3 persons $105 ($35 pp)
4 persons (max) $30 per person

Camping package:
Wifi (2 gig), site PC (2 hours), 24 hour (10am to 10am) use of camping site or cabin, SAT TV, toilets, kitchen, bbqs, laundry facilities, hot showers and use of our courtesy coach. Up to 10 days lockable safe storage and vehicle and belongings storage.

Premium package:
Unlimited Wifi, unlimited use of site PC, use of portable landline telephone (1 hour), 24 hour (10am to 10am) use of motel accommodation, SAT TV, toilets, kitchen, bbqs, laundry facilities, hot showers and use of our courtesy coach. Up to 21 days lockable safe storage and vehicle and belongings storage.

The courtesy transport service was introduced as part of feedback received from many trampers that they had difficulty getting to and from the Kahurangi National Park. We also received feedback from backpackers and general travelers alike who, in the absence of their own transport, were grateful for the service which helped them continue with their schedules.
